Giving Tuesday Fundraiser

Please support the Standing Up to POTS Research Fund. In the United States, there are more people suffering from POTS than amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s Disease combined. The National Institute of Health is funding $248 million dollars in research for these disorders, but has allocated $0 for POTS or dysautonomia research. We need your help!Svetlana Blitshteyn quote 2017

While other organizations are currently working toward funding medical research and physician education for POTS, there is currently no expectation that POTS symptoms will be alleviated any time soon.  In fact, recent indications suggest that some cases of POTS are caused by autoimmune disorders, which are notoriously difficult to treat.  This suggests that POTS patients will be required to live with this disorder for the foreseeable future.  We are currently working to improve quality of life of POTS patients through research, advocacy, and support.
